Früher als andere Geschäftsleute hat der Unternehmer aus Fulda Anfang der 80er Jahre die Biowelle entdeckt: Wolfgang Gutberlet ist Chef der 'tegut'-Kette mit mehr als 300 Lebensmittelläden und 6.200 Mitarbeitern. Jetzt hat er sich auf den Weg an die Weltspitze gemacht: Beim Wettbewerb 'World Entrepreneur of the Year' vertritt er Deutschland.

The entrepreneur from Fulda exploited the organic boom in the early 1980s, well ahead of numerous competitors. Wolfgang Gutberlet is the boss of the 'tegut' chain with more than 300 shops and 6,200 employees. Now he has set off to lead world markets, and is representing Germany in the 'World Entrepreneur of the Year' competition.
